A plan horse is essential to any office dealing with large format paper and, All Aspect Design being in the field of design and drafting is no exception. We looked far and wide for an object that would for-fill this purpose and found that many were either very expensive(not to mention the paper clamps) or just not functional.
Hence it was decided that one could be designed and constructed by AAD. The plan horse needed to hold paper from A4 to A1, be robust and tie in with the industrial look of our office space.
The existing stand up desk(Project 03) in the office made use of triangle trestles so the theme was continued, although this time the triangle is broken into the base and upright member.  Also reused was the finishes, raw steel in lacquer and 2 pack paint this time a grey/blue and matching castors. Back to the paper clamps which are typically sold as aluminium extrusion with some fixings, these are expensive. So after a little looking around we tried the old school clothes hangers with built in clamps and they work perfectly as well as being readily available from your local shop.
